How micro shadowing works

Once your brain knows the pattern, you can hear it.

1

Hear

Watch a YouTube video in the language you're learning, with subtitles on. When a phrase goes by too fast, stop there.

2

Loop

Loop exactly that line, phrase, or word. Shorter is better: micro shadowing works in small pieces.

3

Learn the pattern

See the words, hear them read clearly, then listen again at native speed until it clicks.
